Yea, September! Finally; it will start to cool off, the holiday season is just around the corner starting with Halloween, football season starts next week, and school is fully underway. We have lots of fun stuff coming up at North Oaks.
Friday the 21st is “Bring a Stuffie to School” day. How does THAT work? Easy. Every student get’s to bring their bestest stuffed animal buddy to school to show them what they do all day. They will eat lunch with them and nap with them. They will meet all their NOC friends. They will stay inside during outside time and protect the cubby.
This month our Pre K theme will be “Families.” Our Jr Pre K theme will be “This Way to Pre K.” Our 3 year old class is learning about Traditional Songs such as Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Our toddlers will be very busy learning “All About Me,” and about “Transportation.”
Remember that all Fridays are Share Days! Fridays are very important days at North Oaks. Yes, we get to bring our favorite toy to school, and we learn how to share that toy with friends. Sharing is a never-ending theme here at school. So remember your Share Toys on Fridays.
We want to thank everyone who filled out a parent survey. I want to assure you that every word of every survey was read a reviewed. Your opinion is the most important opinion we get. Along this same line, Nikki and I want to gage the interest in a Parent Association Table. This would be a group of parents (at least one from each age group) to meet with us once a quarter to get your feedback on school and what you like and what you would like at North Oaks. I know that we are all super busy, but if you think you might be interested in a meeting once every 4 months, please let Nikki or myself know. We think this would be a great way to continue to improve North Oaks, and the student experience.
Don’t forget our referral program for recommending new students.
We are very excited to start the new semester with everyone. This is going to be a great school year!
Thank you so much for trusting us with what you love so much.
Mark & Nikki
